Inspired by "The sudden death of the Count of Foix", Chronicles of Froissart, iconography mid 15th century.

A nave is a piece of goldsmith in the form of a ship that sits on the table of honour during a banquet. It allows to store the cutlery of a high nobility, and are usually made of gold, silver, gilded copper or rock crystal.
